Codigo 1530 Barrel Strength Añejo
“Excellent tequila. Notes of oak, light (but not absent) agave, caramel, cinnamon, cedar. Slight natural sweetness to it. It kinda reminded me of Patron Burdeos. It lacks the strong “new white oak” high tannin flavors that the other Codigos have, which isn’t my favorite. The bottle I got was selling for $72.00 at a local spot… normally goes for 175ish. I’d have given it a higher “value” but I based my review here on its normal price point of the 175. ~ at 72.00 it was absolute steal for what this delicious stuff is. ”

Clase Azul Reposado
“Revisited this tequila recently after being turned on to additive free tequila a long while back. The fake chemical vanilla sweetness was overwhelming and undrinkable, …and the headache from the additives. Its kinda like the 10 o’clock news-not real. ”

El Tequileño Reposado Gran Reserva
“Easy sipper and somewhat sweet. Notes of banana, cinnamon and an oily feel. Nice sweetness without the additives. This repo is one of favorite daily sippers, especially at it’s price point. ”
