Phrases Made of Words Reposado
“Phrases Reposado, El Arenal Estate Grown Fruit, I can tell that time, care and patience was used when cooking the agave based on the quality lingering finish. I appreciate the use of an Horno. Well balanced, unlike autoclave tequilas. Fruit forward on the front palate, hint of black pepper and vanilla on the mid palate. The finish is stellar. Leaves you wanting more. Extremely well made tequila. No additives for sure. Not sure about the poor rating from Christine H. “tequila diva” but sounds like an anomaly or a one off bottle. I’ve tried multiple from Phrases. They’ve all been very good.”

Tequila Querendón Reposado
“The cool thing about Querendón Reposados is all of the information one needs to make a qualified buying decision is on the back label. The other cool part is that each release identifies the specific growing location. Currently El Arenal is in my glass, 7 months French oak, additive free and slow roasted in an Horno. The perfectly aged agave is slow roasted over 36 hours, which leaves a finish that lingers well beyond the first sip. Feels like you are drinking fine wine, with hints of baked cantaloupe, apricot, earth notes and hints of black pepper and cardamom spice. Flavors are further illustrated by a medium bodied mouthfeel and underlying notes of honey from the ripe agave on the finish. Right where the sweetness should be for an additive free Tequila. At $60 it over delivers for the price. Home run! Can’t wait until the Jocotepec is released. The 1st release from Amatitán was equally amazing, so I can only imagine Néstor Hernandez the Master Tequilero has outdone himself with the Jocotepec.”

Tequila Querendón Blanco
“I love that this is additive free and 100% single origin Agave. Fragrant floral aromas, indicative of Amatitán. Hints of banana, cinnamon and white pepper. Beautifully balanced with a delicious lingering finish that can only be achieved from slow roasting in an Horno. ”
