“Wow! I bought on an offer from my normal buyer as his disibutor had access to this anjeo. Sipped one ounce over 45 min. The nose is welcoming and pleasant. Think of any tequila base aroma, and it's there. The flavor matches the aroma and is incredible. A finish that disappears as flavor after flavor comes and goes. It starts a bit thick and thins out nicely while it disappears. My bottles are dated 2018 and paid $98 each after tax. I would serve this in the same instances as G4, Fortaleza, and Tequila Ocho. Well worth the $ to have on ypur shelf. ”

“Without a doubt the best Blanco for the past few years. After pouring and allowing to open a bit, it gave an incredibly clean nose with light floral, pepper and citrus hints. The flavor follows the aroma and finishes with an exceptional balance. When purchased at retail this blanco is a true value, but many people pay a premium due to its scarcity. ”

“Very similar to the other Arte Azul offerings. Low proof, but hot on a lasting burning finish. Good pink color for a Rosa. Overall, for the price of this tequila, there are a lot of better options. That said, if you like sipping tequila on ice, this tequila jumps 5 points due to eliminated alcohol, soft nose and an enjoyable finish when on the rocks.”

“Much better than the extra anjeo in terms of a more pleasant aroma and flavor profile. Still hot on the nose and a little bite on the finish. Overall, this is a decent earth forward repasado presented in a nice bottle, but the alcohol heat and price make this one difficult to score higher. I feel this bottle is primed to retail in the $60-$75 range, which by itself would increase the score 4-5 points. ”

“A lower ABV at 30%, but somehow will finish with a heavy alcohol burn on the tongue if left on the palate for a few seconds. Some burn on the swallow, which should be uncommon for an anjeo. Darker in color and aroma and taste both have something odd that I can't pin down. the bottle is attractive, but the stopper is very difficult to get on and off. I really wanted to like this when buying 2 bottles blindly, but I don't see this as a tequila being worth even half its high price. ”
