“NOM 1414 claims additive free on the bottle but I'm not sure I believe it, starts off nice butterscotch and cigar not harsh at all but the finish is rubbing alcohol and leaves soo much to be desired! For the price point, there are better tequilas (locally, it's roughly $50 for me). If you're feeling adventurous, it's worth a try, but it probably won't become a staple in your collection.”

“Garbage ABSOLUTE GARBAGE SAVE YOUR MONEY YOU CAN GET BETTER FOR AT LEAST HALF THE PRICE! This literally tastes like rubbing alcohol and vanilla extract and it smells like aqua net hair spray. Worst tequila I've come across. I left the bottle open for a week in my cabinet to let it breathe in hopes of it improving the flavor and I tried it again about two weeks afterwards and I noticed a very subtle difference. It still sucked ass but between the unbearable burning of my exhaling breath I did finally pick up a hint of agave. I wouldn't serve this swill to my worst enemy.”

“My absolute favorite. Additive free and the agave really shines here, slight burn on the finish that dissipates very quickly, this is all agave and the way it should be in my opinion. I would give taste notes, but I honestly can't get over how in your face the agave is to find anything else in this gem. I unfortunately happened upon a bottle at my local watering hole and after the first sip I knew something was off and I discovered it was a NOM 1500 bottle, no telling how long they had it on the shelf. So enthusiast beware there are still those bottles in circulation and I definitely found it to be an inferior product compared to the NOM 1616, in an attempt to make it palatable I tried mixing it with a bit of the blanco from 1616 to no avail. If you want a mixer, then by all means, but the 1500 is no sipper.”

“Heavy on the nose, but one sip will correct that immediately. soft start with butterscotch and slightly floral and fruit notes finish is nice with oak and cigar and honey. This batch is better than most I've had for at least twice the price, and I wish I could find more. I honestly don't understand how the distillery doesn't release this more or at least more than once, this would launch this brand to the forefront of some finer tequilas if they could at least replicate this even if only in limited batches.”
