“The nose on this one is quite unique, more than anything I get super ripe red apple. Flavor follows suit in that fruity lane, but mixed with that oak, it gives apricot, red apple, little vanilla little salt. Delightfully light finish and beautiful mouth feel. It just drinks super light and airy, but still soft and silky with that wonderful fruity profile, it’s a perfect summer repo. Im finding myself rather obsessed with it for the moment. I do think it’s a little over priced at 120 but not terribly so, and the more i drink it the more im ok with that price point. Really love this one. It’s a must taste to any tequila fans out there. ”

“This one is very interesting. I’m picking up on a similar funky/earthiness that caballito cerrero has, but it’s a different hue. It also really takes you on a journey - starts with an immediate agave bomb, then turns vegetal then finishes a bit lemon/limey, maybe some baking spices in there too. Really nice lingering finish, velvety mouth feel. That funk remains present throughout, but in a really nice complimentary manner. I’m finding this to be one of the most unique and interesting flavor profiles I’ve had lately. I don’t think this is for the tequila tourist, but anyone with any level of appreciation for tequila beyond that, this is a must! ”

“There’s a really interesting funk embedded in the flavor of this one that a love. Tons of cooked agave, and a verrrry long and rewarding finish. Insane mouth feel with longer legs than I’ve ever seen in a tequila. This bottle is by all means excellent, the price point loses it some points as I’ve seen several others say. I’ve only seen it for $300 out the door which is just ridiculous. If this came out to like 180ish it’d easily be north of a 90. ”

“It’s a delicious high proof - butterscotch, agave bombs and salt. I find the alcohol is a bit overpowering on this one though. I thought the 2023 puntas was one of the best I’d ever had so came in with high expectations. Worth a taste for sure but not as much of a must-have as the 2023 in my opinion. ”
