“It certainly is a solid hp tequila. When pushed up against the best of the best though, it falls just a little flat. It certainly has a fantastic nose and palate but they are just a bit subdued against your standouts like Siembra Aleteno, Cascahuin Anada, Zumbador HP, and Calle 23 Criollo. ”

Fuenteseca Cosecha 2020 - "La Tuna De Arriba"

“This 2020 must sit in your glass and open up. If you have a neck pour, let it rest for an hour at least. I have the 2018 Cosecha and the 2020 is way beyond it. The agave nose and palette are there and in control with a much smaller lactic funk influence. The 2018 funk over powers the agave. I've put it against my best high proofs and it holds up very well. Not the top tier but very close. Price certainly comes into play with this as well...a bit high compared to others such as the budget Zumbador HP which beats this handily.”
