Tequila Honey Badger
Mexican 38% abv., marbete is from year 2002, tasted on 7-12-25. Color: yellow to slightly dark yellow. Aroma: light raw agave, acidity, hint of citrus, hint of vanilla, hint of wood note, after 20 minutes in the glass the agave note becomes a tad sweet. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, slightly sour. Finish is medium to medium long, light raw agave, hint of sourness with a hint of citrus note persists.
2005 bottling. Nose: Warm, inviting, yet lively aromas of berry, dark cherry, vanilla, cinnamon and allspice, with light pepper. Flavor: Almonds, zingy white pepper, cream soda, big honeydew note and light oak presence. Sweet agave notes play nicely with citrus peel and the pepper heat. Oily. A touch of bitterness on an oaky, medium long finish. Overall nice mouth feel.
