Nose: Pear, pepper, herbal. Some greenish agave and a hint of root vegetables. More agave and fruit notes come through on the palate. Pepper and slight bitterness on the back end. Nice mouth feel.

pepper burn nose. strong, but not off putting. sweet agave comes through along with floral scents. descent nose. subtle earthy tones, muted pepper from the nose, vanilla and citrus. powerful punch of spice lingers for a few seconds, then slowly begins to diminish. good, not great. if you don't like pepper don't drink this.

This is a house brand of NOM 1146, same as Pura Sangre. I would recommend Pura Sangre. Lapis has a fair amount of alcohol heat and not a lot of flavor. The finish is ok. It's short, but wet, and maybe has more flavor after than during. They did a much better job with Pura Sangre. The rest of this bottle of Lapis will go in the frozen margaritas.

Lote: 020LB22, bottled on 26-05-2022. Aroma: salted raw agave, black olives, alcohol sensation is low. Feels oily. Palate: agave in mouth feels sweeter than on the nose, thick mouthfeel, briny. Finish is medium to long, the salted raw agave notes persist.
