Light peach, fruit, raisin, aromas. Dry flavor, with fruit and a touch of cinnamon and clove. Full body and mouthfeel. Best of all, very affordable. This is a good dependable sipper.

Nose: Initial hit of moderate oak. Then pleasant earthy notes and a hint of lactic. Robust ripe red fruit, a suggestion of pears and agave roll in. Pulling up the rear are mellow vanilla and cinnamon. Flavor: This drinks more like a repo than an añejo. Spicy cinnamon, cloves and pepper. Sweet nuttiness, vanilla and toffee. Finishes with trace aniseed and pepper melding with the agave.

Faint aroma. Sweet initial flavor quickly followed by uncharacteristic hollow flavor unlike other anejos. In some ways more approachable but not a traditional anejo complexity.
