Rated blind: Something here is slightly off. the batch i am trying smells like smoky bacon (which i love, but not in a tequila.)

40% ABV Nose: Subtle raw oak and cinnamon. Fruitiness: pineapple, banana and citrus. Trace mint and earthiness. Floral. Flavor: Light oiliness, trace agave, and bold black pepper. Creamy caramel, vanilla and walnuts. An undercurrent of oak. Finish: Medium length finish with dominant pepper, barrel spice and sweetness. It has a small puff of heat at the end.

I lost that unique “Orendain” flavour with this, the oak treatment just diminishes that signature. It’s ok, I’m not in love with it.

the nose was a bit harsh with process all over the aroma. im drinking this at Agave in Hong Kong and the bottle is more than 2/3s finished so I imagine its oxidized a bit. back to the aroma in picking up vanilla and oak. the taste is better with smooth butterscotch showing through that dances into a sweet finish. I prefer the blanco a lot more (its one of my favorites), but this is very good as well.

I have tried this Tequila After visting the destillery. It‘s Not far away from Fortaleza. It was a nice destillery tour and I enjoyed the tequila.

This being the only decent tequila I can find on the island of Grenada. Although I'm not sure if it is additive free, this tequila is refreshing and crip on a hot humid day. it's not heavy or syrup feeling on the tongue. I worked absolutely take this as a mixer or sipper.

Smell of herbs and orange. Flavours of orange and vanilla are dominant. Smooth sipping with an easy finish. Unique flavour but my favourite, hence the low rating. I wouldn’t jump to recommend this.

A blast of cinnamon, oak and medicinal in the aroma. Vanilla, white pepper and clove in the flavor. The finish is hot with some cooked agave, allspice and orange.
