Deep copper color with thick slow legs. Nose: Deep rich nose comprised of many subtleties. There are peachy/dark cherry fruit notes, creamy vanilla laced with trace nuttiness, a suggestion of floral berries and a tease of barrel spices. Flavors: Nice silky mouth feel. Almonds, hazelnuts, white pepper and vanilla. The barrel oak does not overpower, but there is some tannic bitterness. Heat builds on the finish.
