NOM 1531
$25 for a liter of 44% ABV blanco from OldTown. The bottle is labeled NOM 1531 but that isn't an option in the app. Not as polished as the Puntagave this blanco has good baked agave flavor with some caramelized notes. Natural sweetness fades to some lingering tongue buzz from the alcohol.
This is a really good blanco. I got it for 24 bucks tax included. Smooth, sweet baked agave and a minty finish. Nice to sip on and makes a pretty good drink too. I’m almost certain they used hearts only in this one. Somewhat similar to Arette but even less expensive.
Only $20 WOW! Don’t sleep on this one
Good overall. A little funky on the nose. Very clean for the price point. Way better than others at this price. I’d compare this to Cimarron.

Blind tasting w/ G4 & Pasote. Mild agave aroma, agave with just a hint of vanilla flavor & super smooth finish. Bumped up the value score 2 pts for fantastic $19.99 price at Old Town.
Excellent flavor for the value. Roasted squash, vegetal, a little mineral.
This over delivers for the price, a liter bottle, sweet, clean, cooked agave, great for any cocktail
