This extra anejo is among my favorites. It has the best of both worlds, combining addictive sweet notes with deep complexity: cinnamon, tobacco, layers and layers. When I drink this one I feel the wonder of well-crafted tequila. Also, when you want to emphasize the sweetness add an ice cube; for flavor depth drink neat. It's cool how this one varies so much with versus without ice.

Nice bottle, not terrible to drink. But I’m not sure I’d call it tequila. I can’t taste agave. If I take a big ol swig maybe I can taste some oak. Aftertaste is syrupy stickyness like you get drinking a coke that’s been left out a week in a hot car.

Definitely stronger on the nose than on the taste buds. Sweet and smooth. A great sipping tequila for a cheese tray or after dinner as dessert. Sip slowly....

I found this one to be super sweet and syrupy. No hint of agave. Would be better labeled as a liquor
