Bottled in 2022 Aroma: a lot of alcohol off the bat followed by black pepper, some herbal notes, yeast, chemicals (kind of chlorine), and metallic aromas. Flavor: alcohol and black pepper overwhelm the palate. There’s an earthy note but it’s followed quickly by a metallic flavor. I do get a little sweetness but it’s not enough to make up for the other concerning flavors. Finish: short Overall this isn’t the worst thing I’ve tried and it is confirmed additive free but for $42 at total wine there are so many brands I’d recommend before I got to this one. This to me is the type of bottle I’d recommend in a pinch if there were no other additive free brands.
Nose: nice cooked agave, floral, earthy and citrus Flavor: some cooked agave, earthy, watery mouthfeel, and some green fruit Finish: medium and nothing but black pepper
Vanilla, pepper alcohol, I would recommend this more as mixer than a sipper
It’s just alright, pretty alcohol heavy tequila. Not enough agave and tiny hints of sweetness like vanilla
Blanco Incredibly Average! Exactly what the world needs is another $40 bottle of the tequila that is almost as good as some 20 a bottle tequilas..... Aged tequilas in this lineup look as if the have had color added.
Not the best tequila to sip on necessarily, but pairs well with lime and goes down pretty smooth. Not too much going on in terms of flavor, but the finish is smooth.
smells a bit like oranges and lavender. tastes of star anise, cinnamon. nice bottle. would drink again
Cooked agave, ethanol, vegetal, minerality
Nice and warm finish.
Clean crisp, pairs well. Goes down well. Finish is easy total panty dropper. I finished
Very smooth for a silver! Super nice finish that doesn’t bite.
I just tasted the Cantera Negra Reposado and rated it. It is the Tequila that Old Dominion (Number 1 Country Music Band) drinks before each of their concerts. I then moved onto this Silver, and was blown away! Best tasting and smoothest sipping Silver I’ve ever tasted! I’ll move up to the Añejo and Extra Añejo tonight!
Peppery at the front. A good sipping tequila with lime
great citrus flavor with a peppery finish.
Soft nose…. Alcohol up front, some agave. Thin mouthfeel. Not a lot going on. Warmth builds through the finish.
Subtle agave flavor gives way to a more herbal grassy flavor then a sweet agave rears up after a while. Thin not quite watery but definitely not a heavy body.
Aroma is wonderful, taste is good but doesn’t deliver on expectations based on the aroma and the finish peters out quicker than I’d like. Agave chewiness, sweet vanilla, alcohol, aspartame, minerality - wet stone/wet asphalt Overall she pleasant - aspartame note feels concerning
Decent flavor. Watery. Probably good as a mixer.
Very bland , some agave notes, mutes
Pleasantly surprised by this one. Very smooth, agave flavor at the front, but it’s quickly replaced with pepper on the backend. Not a bad tequila.
Didn’t really feel that TLC in this tequila , seems rushed and just okay for a mixer but it calls for a premium price point
Slightly cooked agave on the nose, pepper, as well. On the palate I’m getting peppery, a slight sweetness, but a harsh tongue numbing alcohol finish.
Nose: Nice aromas, if a bit subtle. Agave, earthy, mineral, grassy, black pepper. Mouth: Same as "nose", it's overall a subtlely flavorful juice, and has decent heat, good mouth-feel, with a smooth anise finish. Very drinkable as a sipper or mixer.
very strong finish. meh

Clean & dry, mint notes with a fast finish and pleasant mouthfeel.
