Never thought I would have the opportunity to enjoy this rare find, definitely didn't disappoint! From the bottle itself to the finish, it checks every box! Doesn't go down like a high proof.

I was so fortunate to be able to taste this rare find! The artwork on this bottle was a prelude to the wonderful agave within! This deliciously rich and spicy, agave-forward XA did not go down the palate like a high-proof. Excellent!!

Similar profile to Fuenteseca Tons of spices and pepper, oak is very present but still manages to be agave forward

Amazing presentation - the hand blown glass and artwork is fantastic. Big barrel aged notes of vanilla and spices on both the nose and pallet. Definitely pick up some dried fruit notes as well. Cooked agave is present but far from an agave bomb.

A beautifully blended masterpiece from Vivanco at NOM 1414. Made from 8 year and 10 year reserves and coming in at 47%. Warm cooked agave right off the bat with butterscotch, dried fruit such as fig, pineapple, apricot, some citrus, mocha, cherry, vanilla, leather, with a nice cinnamon kick at the end. XAs don't come much better than this. Only 1300 bottles made. A true treasure delight...

Finding this is like finding a unicorn Something special about this bottle, great value, over delivers. Cooked sweet agave, light spices. Beautiful.

Chocolate, cherry, mint, maple and sweet agave

Super delicious taste of Agave, Chocolate, Vanilla, very unique

I forgot how delicious this is. Cracked the bottle again last night and I’m still thinking about it this morning. It’s chocolate in a glass.

Tried in a Reidel, about 2 oz. let sit for about 7 min. Aroma- dark cherry, chocolate syrup, oak chars, light agave, mint, maple Taste - earthiness, some smokiness, oak tannins, not much sweetness. Finish - nice heat on the back end. Not overpowering. Long lingering warmth with some wood tones.

Brilliant stuff. Notes of caramelized agave, toffee, chocolate, vanilla, dried fruit, raisins, tropical fruit, pepper, oak, mint, and freshwater with a creamy mouthfeel and long finish. Bargain at $130-$150 a bottle compared to more expensive el Tesoro 80, Fuenteseca 8 and above, similarly priced Don Julio 1942, Reserva de la Familia, Avion 44.
