Fairly new on the market. Right away it’s really buttery and smooth in the mouth. Then goes sweet on the finish. A great new taste from 1146.

Bottle: Batch 1 - Approximate Brix 24.5, 42.5% ABV, LOTE 014AB22 Appearance: Clear Nose: Cooked and raw agave, citrus, grapefruit, lemon, black pepper, herbal, lemongrass, parsley, minerality, wet cement, limestone, yeast/dough, lactic, peppermint, brine/salinity, and cinnamon…I immediately had to put a pinky out Palate: Cooked and raw agave, brine/salinity, minerality, wet cement, butter, jalapeño, alcohol, cinnamon, black and white pepper, citrus, grapefruit, pineapple, lactic, herbal, and peppermint…I need to find my caviar Finish: Black and white pepper, jalapeño, butter, alcohol, peppermint, brine/salinity, and lactic…long and warming with an oily viscosity Overall: My bottle says both “100% Agave Blanco Tequila” on the front and “BOTTLED IN MEXICO” on the back, which doesn’t align with the Matchmaker Insider Tip information. Nevertheless, I really liked this pour. The best way I can describe this top to bottom is “refined,” kind of like a charcuterie board among mere Lunchables. It’s easy to drink, but has a great bite and, for $36 a bottle, I’ll be going back for more.

Bottled in Singapore. Interesting story behind the brand which can be found with a quick google search. Drinks a lot like Cimarron blanco but at a slightly higher proof. Nose: Nice sweet cooked agave with some black pepper. After letting it rest I noticed some light vanilla which I really enjoyed. Palate: cooked agave which starts with hints of sweetness but not overwhelming. Finishes with a little bite of alcohol from that 42.5% abv and some black pepper as well. Medium body, probably would be great in a cocktail but still holds up as a tasty sipper.

It's not the one I like. There's not much agave in the aroma or taste. Too much vanilla? I don't know. I also feel a sourness at the end.

Aroma is ok but flavor (which is the most important thing) is solid, smooth, almost creamy. Finish is great too. Thanks, Chad for taster! Good stuff. (I’m a pretty tough rater (I am a teacher) so take the number w/ a grain of salt.

Smells green Tastes spicy with minerality and concrete

very nice Blanco, peppery finish, it reminds me Fuerte, but not sure it can entirely compete. but very good overall, in cocktail it would be amazing, sipper not for every day, little harsh alcohol notes

Really good, competitive blanco from 1146. Hits close if not equal to Don Fulano.

agave forward a bit

Aroma: Bright cooked agave, alcohol since it’s 42.5%, vanilla Taste: gives me Pura Sangre vibes with a touch of wood - does this sit in wood for a bit? Tastes like 1146, peppery, little alcohol kiss since it’s higher proof Finish: warming, mineral - oak (I swear this rests in barrels, tell me I’m wrong)
