The aroma is very dry with a lot of oak and leather. I also get a dried cherry and peach. I like the aroma a lot. It does lose most of the agave but it smells nice and somewhat unique. Flavor is very heavy on the oak. There is a hint of an agave/honey like sweetness and I do get some tart dried fruit. The finish is a tad bitter and lingers a while but it’s good. The value really pumps the score up as this is about a $40 bottle. Hard to beat that price on an Añejo but it’s a good bottle and something I think a lot of folks newer to tequila especially from whiskey would enjoy.

Had this at a hotel bar and was pleasantly surprised. Good flavor. Aroma is light. Smooth good finish. Excellent for a bar pour when the menu otherwise sucked. Additive free. Would drink again.

Smooth, yet complex finish

Serious value points on this one for only ~$37. Overall presents a fruitier profile than many añejos! Oak, caramel, fruit, baking spices, light agave.
