Wood heavy, notes of cedar and...sawdust, but not in a bad way.
lote 26/04/2022
Mexican 38% abv. version, marbete is from year aprox. 2005, tasted on 7-12-25. Color: light brown to brown. Aroma: light cooked agave, light caramel, light wood note, light acidity, wood note becomes more noticeable as time goes by. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, hint of fruitiness, wood note is also slightly dominating on the palate, hint of soapy aroma through my retronasal. Finish is medium to medium long, light cooked agave, hint of fruitiness with slightly dominating wood note persists.
Delicious and very smooth.
Notes of farm, barn, and hay. A bit too strong of a finish for my taste in reposado.
