Butter, agave, black pepper, and Finish: warm, oaky and peppery, a little alcohol burn but not hot ”

“Blind tasted in a Glencairn glass with another repo.First taste was after a fresh pour (sitting 1-2 min), then retasted after letting it rest 20 min or so. “Tasted this on 5/27/2026 alongside another blanco and 2 repos. I let the pour sit and open up for about 20 min before scoring. Sampled this in a wide, open mouth snifter glass, rather than my typical Glencairn glass. Retasted on 6/2/2026 in a Glencairn glass. Notes updated. Nose: agave, pepper, brine, something slightly sweet too Taste: bold, earthy flavors, minerals, and a little salt Finish: strong and long finish with a fennel / anise vibe, some citrus (lemon)”

“Tasted on 5/27/2026 this alongside another blanco and 2 repos. I let the pour sit and open up for about 20 min before scoring. Sampled this in a wide, open mouth snifter glass, rather than my typical Glencairn glass. Immediately after pouring, the aroma was very strong. Very pleasant agave aroma. After sitting a while, the nose faded a bit and the specific aromas were less pronounced. Retasted on 6/2/2026 in a proper Glencairn glass. Notes updated. Aromas a full and persistent now. Strong fresh agave. Delicious! Nose: fresh agave, sweet banana, spearmint, citrus. Came back to it after letting it sit for 10 min and then got a 1000 Island Dressing vibe on the nose. Taste: full, well rounded agave flavor, a bit of burn on the tongue with the first sip. Finish: Sharp burn at first, very short-lived though and then the finish appears as the burn fades. Very complex evolution of flavors here. Roasted corn, spearmint, some citrus. ”

“Nice aroma. Smells clean and natural but somewhat faint. When I did the palm-rubbing scent test, it had klan off-putting scent of rotten meat. sweetener additives were definitely obvious on the first sip but not so bad that it was offensive. finish was okay a little bitter. ”
