Profile seems to be manipulated with additional sweetness
Mineral, sweet, a bit astringent and metallic, subtle agave notes
Nose is a bit acrid initially, but opens up after 10 minutes to reveal some great agave notes and grapefruit. Daryl's review is pretty accurate as to the rest of the profile.
This has an Agave forward nose and the high proof doesn’t overwhelm the aroma. You know it’s a high octane though when you first taste it as it warms you throughout. The 109 Proof right up front but you still get the Agave and citrus coming out real nice. Does not have a long finish so I find myself going back for another taste after a short period.. This would be great for a mixer also....
Lacking flavor…mild nose, mild finish
I imagine this tequila will appeal to newer palates. it's easy to sip, and not very complex. I question whether it has additives because it has a bit too much vanilla for an additive-free blanco. but since i only had a small sample in a little plastic cup from a bottle that was just opened at tequila town, I will revisit another time and update my notes accordingly
