Sweet, minty and fruity. Nice taste on the palate. Minty, sweet agave, I enjoyed this.
Similar to the Reppo a little more barrel nothing insane, but an overall decent zipper would drink if I found it out wouldn't search the bottle out
Some light agave barrel notes, decent balance, but a little thin finish was short decent Reppo for the price wouldn't search it out personally
Better notes on this one more agave a little funk some minereality still not a great finish or mouth feel for me but overall much more enjoyable than the Blanca
Slight hints of agave pepper, a little ethanol for me not my favorite but a decent Blanco overall
El Bandido Yankee Plata 47 is my newest high proof pickup. This 94 proof blanco gave aromas of agave and buttery notes on the first crack of the bottle. As the glass sat the buttery notes faded with citrus coming in. Nice nose. Flavors follow with agave, citrus, white pepper, and some minerals. It’s not too hot in the mouth but does have a pleasant finish appropriate for its higher proof. While not overly complex, this is a pleasant and approachable sipper I’ll happily keep drinking. I’d imagine this will be a banger for cocktails, which I’d consider for the very reasonable price point (around $50 by me).
An estimated 70 percent of all tequila contains undisclosed additives, like vanilla extract and aspartame. One couple is on a mission to change that.
