this was my favorite new expression at goodjuice austin. it is delicious. perfectly matched to my profile. i cant wait to get a few bottles
I love this brand and everything they stand for. another delicious expression!
On the nose, it opens with a beautifully rich blend of sweet, roasted agave, creamy malolactic undertones, and well-integrated oak. Layers of caramel, tobacco leaf, cherry, and a subtle earthiness round it out, all tied together by that unmistakable NOM 1599 funk—a signature nuance that brings unique character and depth. I absolutely love this aroma, it’s complex and inviting. The mouthfeel is medium-full and delivers more than expected. Cooked agave takes center stage, supported by oak and an assertive wave of pepper that surprises but definitely doesn’t disappoint. Delicate honeysuckle and sweet floral notes weave in, followed by warm caramel and a touch of tobacco leaf, creating a beautifully balanced sip. The finish is long, lingering, and perfectly sweet with a peppery kick—an ideal conclusion to a well-crafted Añejo. Safe to say, this is my favorite Añejo to date.
Wonderful aroma with just the slightest funk that I love from NOM 1599. Butterscotch, cinnamon, and cooked agave that’s really well balanced.
A nice reposado, baking spice, light barrel notes, not overly complicated.
Caramel, cinnamon, light vanilla, funky nose opens up. Light sweetness, barrel notes and cooked agave.
