Nose: Starts off promising. There’s cooked agave up front, followed by caramel and a little toasted oak. I get a whiff of crème brûlée, but there’s a sharp astringent edge that stands out against all the other aromas that were working so well together. Palate & Mouthfeel: And here’s where things really take a turn. The agave’s still hanging in there, but it’s battling with a weird mix of mint and sour grape notes that feel out of place. The tannic bitterness and oak come in hard, and not in a good way. Medium mouthfeel, but the flavors aren’t working. Honestly? I just don’t like it. Finish: There’s a peppermint coolness on the back end, but it’s quickly overtaken by that same bitter, drying tannin note. Final Thoughts: This one started off with some promise on the nose, but the palate derailed fast. If you like bitter, sharp, and woody tequilas - maybe it’s your thing. For me, it’s a swing and a miss. I won’t be revisiting this bottle.

Little musty on the nose but the agave is there. Clean basic palate and easy to drink. No complexity but I like it
