Acre Largo Joven Rosa
“Absolutely—just paste your tasting notes (nose, palate, finish), and I’ll turn them into a natural Agave Matchmaker review in under 50 words, written in your style. For example: Rich cooked agave leads with bright citrus, fresh berries, and a touch of vanilla. The palate stays agave-forward with layered fruit, light oak, and gentle spice. The wine barrel influence adds complexity without overshadowing the tequila, finishing clean, balanced, and incredibly easy to sip.”

Casa Azul Organic Tequila Blanco
“1646 A bright, clean, and very well-made blanco that puts cooked agave front and center. On the nose I get plenty of roasted agave, followed by fresh lime, grapefruit, earthy notes, fresh-cut grass, and just a crack of white pepper. The palate is layered with sweet cooked agave, lime zest, wet stone minerality, and an herbal character that reminds me of mint and rosemary. The finish is clean, crisp, and well-balanced with building black pepper, lingering citrus, and a light briny salinity that keeps you coming back for another sip. This is an easy sipper with good complexity, great agave character, and a production process that really shows in the glass.”

Siembra Valles Tequila Reposado
“Wow I like this one! Big nose on this one love the cooked agave and the minerals in this one!! ”
More info →“I’ve got to start with the packaging because they absolutely nailed it. The new label is one of my favorites this year. Instead of flashy marketing, it honors the people who actually make tequila. Featuring Humberto working the shredder, it’s a bottle that tells a story before you ever pour a glass. Nose: Right away it’s loaded with cooked agave. Then I get an earthy funk, a nice vegetal note that reminds me of asparagus, fresh orange peel, a little dark chocolate, and a wet stone minerality. Every time I go back to the glass, I pick up something new. Palate: Big roasted agave leads the way, followed by bright citrus and that earthy, vegetal character from the nose. As it develops, I pick up a touch of dark chocolate and black pepper that carry into a long, balanced finish.”

Tequila Providencia Reposado
“On the nose, I immediately picked up plenty of cooked agave along with light peach and honey notes. There’s a pleasant barrel spice that reminds me of cinnamon, along with touches of oak, caramel, and even a little vanilla. As it opens up, a subtle herbal note starts to show itself, adding another layer of character. The palate follows through nicely from the aroma. Cooked agave remains the star of the show, supported by floral notes, light honey, soft peach, and that same herbal character I found on the nose. Nothing here feels overdone or out of balance. Is this the most complex reposado I’ve ever tasted? No. But that’s not really the point. What it delivers is a collection of well-integrated flavors that work together extremely well. The mouthfeel is smooth and satisfying, the finish is long, and the overall profile is balanced from start to finish.”

Tequila Providencia Blanco
“On the nose, I’m getting a nice sweetness right away. It’s cooked agave up front, a little spice, some citrus, and just a touch of floral and little vegetal. On the palate, big cooked agave hits first, then those floral notes really open up more than the nose lets on. There’s a clean sweetness throughout. The finish brings a nice vegetal heat that builds as it sits. I’m also picking up some anise and a little lime zest on the back end”

House of Rare Founder's Cut Blanco
“Really solid blanco. Cooked agave is front and center, and that eucalyptus note gives it a fresh, cooling twist that makes it stand out. You get agave, a little minerality, some pepper, and a touch of salinity. The 46% ABV carries the flavor nicely without being too much. Finish is clean with that herbal note hanging on. It is a little pricey… but honestly, the bottle alone is awesome as a decanter to ”

Don Rico Tequila Añejo
“On the nose, I am getting cooked agave, vanilla, and caramel right away, then it shifts into chocolate, coffee, and raspberry notes from. On the palate, it’s rich and velvety great mouth feel —caramel, honey, plum, cherry, and that raspberry really comes through—definitely more fruit-forward than your typical Añejo. You still get some toasted oak and a little spice to balance it out. The finish is long, warm, and slightly sweet with butterscotch and a little citrus hanging on. This isn’t a purist tequila—but if you like finished whiskey or bold Añejos, this one hits.”
