Nose: vanilla/ sweet cooked agave / caramel/ earth/ pineapple/ banana/ orange / anise / tea / nutmeg/ chocolate/ molasses Taste: earth / orange peel / vanilla/ sweet agave cooked / cinnamon / pineapple/ lime / lemongrass/ Tea / mint / nutmeg/ molasses/ minerals/ Finish: low viscosity mouthfeel/ heavy pepper note prevails through the whole sip / there’s a lingering pepper and bittersweet note that carries on throughout the whole sip. The sweetness, which is low, leaves the palate stage quickly to leave the pepper in the spotlight. This Reposado is very good, and follows it’s brand DNA well. There are a tremendous amount of heavy pepper notes throughout the whole sip and they carry on for a long ride across your palate.

Nose: Agave, Grassy, Citrus, Oak, Pine, Minerality, Wet Cement and Cinnamon Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied Palate: Butter, Vanilla, Black Pepper Finish: Carmel, Oak, Agave, Black Pepper, Grass, Wet Cement This was lovely. More balanced than some of the other repos I've enjoyed from 1123.

This is batch 14. The nose is full of agave and butterscotch. I get some citrus and vanilla. Light oak, citrus and mint On the tongue a nice rush of agave followed by vanilla and citrus it does have a fair amount of black pepper, mint and a little cinnamon. It has a taste of butter and a hint of alcohol. This is a nice repo.

This has a lot of complexity with great flavor. Cinnamon, caramel cherry, citrus. Nice combination in a repo.

Batch 12. Amazing reposado, the wood is intense with high tannins in the first sips but over time the natural sweetness from the barrel takes over. If you like the aged offerings from cascahuin you’ll definitely like this one.

Tried batch 9 and 12 at the same time. Liked the nose on 12 but palate on 9. Repos are very hard to do properly. This one was just right.

Very nice repo. Nice with the loads of agave up front leading right into light citrus and vanilla notes. A tad bit of earthiness but Not a whole lot of barrel in this one but loads of pepper on the back end that lets you know your drinking something. I like this. Very good.

obvious cooked agave with big presence of citrus on the aroma followed by mineral, oak, pepper. overall buttery on the nose. some orange on the nose develops later. citrus hits early on in the flavor with the natural cooked agave sweetness. oak is also present just to let you know it's there, but not overpowering. orange, pepper, some hint of vanilla. very good mouth feel, as it's oily/buttery on the tongue

Batch 12: smells amazing with fresh orange popping out. Taste agave, orange, cinnamon, light oak. A little short and light but overall a very nice Reposado.

An intense citrusy aroma on the nose, quite a definite presence of nice cooked agave. The overall aroma is so bright that is more reminiscent of a Blanco than a Repo. I love it! A soft an oily mouthfeel that leaves beutiful legs on my Glencairn. Quite bright on the palate as well, it must be young. The bottle indicates it's aged more than 3 months and judging by the light presence of wood I'd say it actually isn't much more than that. It's quite agave forward which I love, with light notes of vanilla and some orange blossom. It reminds me of Ocho although this is a valley juice. This is an extremely nice reposado, very clean and quite smooth, with just the right amount of alcohol spices to make it interesting. You can immediately tell there are no bs additive in this one and just a very light sweetness from the wood. It ends with a medium to long finish which keeps resonating with cooked agave till the end and some mild spiciness. It's really a very solid reposado, although I must say it lacks the remarkable complexity of its blanco edition. Contrary to the Blanco you can't really detect the bagass fermentation complexity in the repo, it's much more straight forward. Very good nonetheless.

Nice nose, with agave, raisins and dark sugar like molasses. Straw color with lazy adhesion in the glass. Thin but silky mouthfeel. Mildly sweet on the palate, follows the nose in a soft and subtle way. Some barrel spice and cinnamon that flows into a relatively quick and dry finish.

Lote 502 09/03/24 Batch 014 Aroma: agave, stone fruit, caramel, toffee, dried rasin, slight pine resin and baking spices Flavor: a burst of sweet dried fruits and spice with some minerality and herbal notes Mouthfeel: medium body with slight alcohol tingle on the sides of my tongue and in the back of my throat Finish: Long sweet juicy finish that is complimented by a little tingle Color: light straw I love this Reposado! It has such a classic Tequila quality that feels both vintage and timeless.

The difference between the reposado and añejo is definitely a caramel punch in the face for the añejo.

This is incredible and easily one of the best Tequilas that I have tasted. Amazing depth of flavor and complexity. Love the light barrel notes and intense minerality.

1123 is the bomb. Pepper, slight citrus, sweet agave, slight vegetal/grassy, slight vanilla. Lots going on in this glass and I can tell it's gonna open up even more. Very silky mouth feel. Great bottle.
