“This is a descent tequila for the money. It has a pleasant taste but, I am experiencing a little after burn. That is why I am rating this in the low 80’s. I will chill this and try it again. ”

“Our club really enjoyed this product. It is a rich, full bodied, tequila you can drink all night long. It has a very good aroma and smooth finish. This is a tequila that can be served in a warmer snifter and enjoyed after dinner or later at night. Our only reservation is the price to value ratio. But, if you like to explore tequilas this should be on your list.”

“What can I say, our club drinks many brands and mostly Anejos. We were looking for a budget rail and finally tried this Rep. Wow! This is an amazing product for the price ($41/1.75 liter). We love this neat at room temp. Toss it in the freezer and it gets even better The only negative I have is I don't think it adds the same upgrade to a margarita as 1800 rep. But, certainly is as refreshing out of the freezer as Hornitos. Which is to say this is enjoyable neat on a summer evening.”

“The tequila drinking club I belong to rates this as "the most dangerous tequila". We say that because it goes down easy and it's very light bodied. It just seems like you didn't drink anything. Because of that we find ourselves pouring another glass. The next thing you know the bottle is empty. Fortunately, it is high enough in quality that the next morning isn't that bad. It is best to drink this one at your house and let your friends call Uber. It is best to drink this one at your house and like your friends call Uber.”

“Fresh aroma with a hint of vanilla and carmel. Low alcohol volatiles in the nose. The standard by which our club rates tequila's is Don Julio Anejo. If you like "The Don" but don't want to shell out the $65 + tax, Hussong's Anejo comes close to the taste for just under $40. At about the same price, and easier to find, the Reposado is very nice as well. The only negative we found here is a slight chalky texture. But, for the excellent finish this is easy to overlook.”
