Herradura Añejo
“Not much to report here - a pretty standard tequila, it has been aged but no notes worth mentioning. A very straight forward spirit. Would be good for upgraded well for cocktails. Not a great sipper in my opinion. ”

1800 Reposado
“The issue here is that it’s being made in a sipping style for a mixer. Other than that it’s ok ”

“Nothing special to report, mainly a mixer for margs, palomas, or ranch waters. ”

Exotico Blanco
“Pretty good for a budget bottle, the metal cap could always be replace with a cork of some kind. If that change were to happen I’m sure I’d rate higher. Nice bottle for the freezer ”

“A similar quality to the blanco but with a more refined edge. Worth a try but the bottle is quite expensive for weak body. ”

Don Julio Blanco
“Ahh yes my friend Don. It smells like a genie in a bottle, a familiar pleasant scent however it is not a complex blanco and others can be found in the same style with more. ”

El Tesoro Blanco
“I’d like to start by saying I love the bottle and the very tasteful stone wheel statue as part of the cork, it’s great. The juice itself is very good for a blanco. It’s interesting in that it tastes almost of olive while still staying true to the 100% agave flavors. ”

Hornitos Black Barrel Tequila
“An interesting comparison to the Patron Añejo. Both of a similar feel and structure. I’d still look for a more complex bottle elsewhere. ”

Corazon Single Estate Blanco
“Aromas almost medicinal alcohol forward scent with a strange sweetness and hidden vanilla. Taste is floral, alcohol, long pepper finish good mid shelf for the value! Probably a better mixer than neat. Or for new tequila fans who want exposure to 100% agave single estate on a budget. ”

Dulce Vida Blanco
“Strong Alcohol aromas mixed with straight agave Smooth organic mouthfeel and decent peppery finish. 8/10 My bottle was not a great value however for $40 I could probably do better ”

Arette Reposado
“This Reposado bottled in Tequila Jalisco tends to take on more of the profile of a lowland tequilas being that it seems masculine almost reminiscent of a softer whisky or cognac. The agave is present, as well as pepper, vanilla, and the barrel. This is a decent profile of aromas and tastes for the price. I like to put it on top of a nice blended marg as a topper or even on ice. This is above average. Serviceable.. but no where near the top. A little too alcohol forward at times. Not a huge fan of the twisty lid but this is a bargain price at the right store. ”
