Nose: Round barrel spices and light pepper note to begin with. Some mineral pizazz, ripe dark fruit & vanilla aromas, and peekaboo agave. Flavor: A huge disappointment after the promising nosing. Very watery in the mouth with some bitterness. The barrel spices have become diluted and the agave has retreated to nonexistence. Finish: Pepper and vanilla somewhat save the day...

Tasted in Querétaro, México. Aroma and flavors of agave, baking spices and caramel. Nice mouth feel with a finish that has a bit of a bite.

Mexican 40% abv. version, lote: LTCR170502, bottled on 26-05-2017, tasted on 9-10-24. Color: very light to light yellow. Aroma: cooked agave with a hint of sweetness, hint of creamy vanilla, hint of earthiness, hint of dirt sensation, light acidity, light citrus, light orange, hint of orange blossom. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, quite intense orange blossom, good sweet sour and citrus balance. Finish is medium to almost medium long, light sweet cooked agave, light creamy vanilla, light orange blossom with light earthy note persists.

The nose is amazing. Has a sweet cocktail aroma. The taste is very sweet and fruity. The finish is quite a contrast, it is super dry and with a very strong ethanol after-taste --leaves a considerable bite.

Nice smokey flavor that lingers a bit.
