I got this bottle as a gift. Medium amber in the glass. Aroma of cooked agave, vanilla, oak and baking spice. Flavor of cooked agave, black pepper, vanilla, oak and baking spice. Medium finish.

Nose: Citrus, vanilla, pear and apple, light baking spice and a floral nuance. Flavor: Baking spices are blooming with black pepper and creamy vanilla. Finish: Short with predominantly black pepper and vanilla - and a suggestion of leather. Older Mexican bottling with a marbete from 2006. This is a super bargain tequila, which upped the rating by a couple of points.

Mexican 38% abv. version, marbete is from 2006, tasted on 1-15-24. Color: yellow to light yellow. Aroma: light cooked agave, a quite dominant herbaceous note that is expressive but not a pleasure to smell, hint of vanilla, hint of wood note, aroma of an uncommon, unidentified spice. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, much sweeter on the palate, hint of red apples. Finish is medium to medium long, hint of cooked agave, baked red apples with cinnamon, light vanilla and slightly bitter wood note persists.
