Sampling an old 2011 vintage. It’s just ok. Fruity floral nose. Tastes sweet with some agave but with an astringent note and aftertaste.

Light amber color in the glass. Aroma of cinnamon, cooked agave, oak and a hint of vanilla. Flavor of caramel, cooked agave, black pepper. Medium finish.

Tried in Puerto Vallarta 2023. Very good aroma and decent taste. Nice sipper.

Not as viscous as the blanco this has some bitterness throughout that leaves this as very one note from first sip through the finish. Some sweetness develops after sitting for a few minutes in the glass. The things I like about the blanco are missing here.

Round spicy agave nose. A little fruity and floral. Oily in the mouth. Nice barrel spices and toffee with the agave, and a touch of white pepper. Solid pleasing medium long finish...

I've had a few gallons of this in Mexico but kind of hard to find in the states. nice sweet agave vanilla nose and same on taste with a nice flavor. it reminds me of a cheaper better Don Julio.

Lot LT-NCR-01, bottled on 30-apr-12. Marbete is from year 2010. Color: light yellow. Aroma: sweet cooked agave, light wood and sweet vanilla notes, light black pepper. Palate: sweet cooked agave, minty, vanilla, light wood notes, sweet anise, this bottle although it has the same fun stopper as the Centinela square bottle blanco and is from a similar bottling date, luckily it doesn’t have the plastic aroma. Finish is medium to long, sweet cooked agave with sweet aromatic anise persist.
