Batch 002 | The Rioja cask absolutely shines on the nose, rich dried fruits, dark cherries, and wine soaked oak. The agave takes a subtle backseat. On the palate, cooked agave makes its presence known, through continued notes of dried fruit and wine influence. The barrel is impressive but not overpowering. The finish lingers with warm cooked agave, a gentle peppery finish. Another win from the Ensueno Team!!
