Brine hits next with a beautiful lingering finish. The first sip from the neck of the bottle was intense. Followed up a few days later before rating. This has mellowed a bit, quite a nice sipper. ”

“The Rioja cask absolutely shines on the nose, rich dried fruits, dark cherries, and wine soaked oak. The agave takes a subtle backseat. On the palate, cooked agave makes its presence known, through continued notes of dried fruit and wine influence. The barrel is impressive but not overpowering. The finish lingers with warm cooked agave, a gentle peppery finish. Another win from the Ensueno Team!!”
