Nose: The agave shows up first, steady and clear, before the oak folds in with a warm, grounded edge. There’s a soft, earthy undercurrent that gives it some weight, and the stone fruit character feels ripe without drifting into candy. A touch of cinnamon adds lift, while a vineous note brings a rounded, almost wine kissed depth that ties the profile together. Palate & Mouthfeel: The mouthfeel is full, carrying the agave through a wave of oak and pronounced bourbon barrel spice. The caramel runs warm, giving the spice something to hold onto. Stone fruit comes back in a big way - lush, present, and pushing up against the edges of the oak. Everything lands with intention, the barrel clearly in the driver’s seat. Finish: The barrel spice stays long and unmistakable, hanging on with real persistence. The fruit and caramel fade early, leaving spice and oak to close things out. Final Thoughts: This leans into a fruit forward, barrel heavy style that doesn’t quite hit my personal lane, but the craftsmanship is clear. Well put together, just a touch too fruit driven for my taste.

Aroma: stone fruit: peach, melon (similar to the blanco) crème brûlée *added some water and aroma pops. So much peach Flavor: peachy, flavor really pops when it sits a minute, viscous, nice mouth feel/coating *with a few drops of water: still get that peach pie Finish: medium finish, but peach flavor lingers Value: $72

Warm butter, fruit, cake batter, and a hint of strawberry on the nose, with a subtle hominy note adding intrigue. Earthy and slightly mossy on the palate, balanced by sweet agave and gentle fruit. The finish is where it shines—layered and complex, with waves of agave, fruit, earth, pepper, and musty notes unfolding one after another.

Really nice offering from a NOM famous for creating high quality tequilas. If you’ve tried 1579’s Terralta before you’ll immediately detect a familiar flavor profile. Nobleza 33 is agave forward but definitely skews to the mineral/organic/vegetal profile that Terralta does well. Warmer, sweeter flavors are there but more muted. I will say though, the bottle is truly beautiful - especially when backlit. I get why some really like this, and I’m certainly not sad I bought it, but for me there are other 1579 offerings I prefer. Also, you could just buy a bottle of Terralta for quite a bit less and get a very similar experience. Then again, this won double gold so what do I know?

Aroma is the best thing about this tequila. Subtle notes of cooked agave, vanilla and marshmallow. The flavor is crisp with just the right amount of heat, like white pepper. The finish is medium-to-long with a heat that gradually disappears. Very pleased with this reposado and highly recommend as a sipper.

Smells like butterscotch chip cookie dough Caramel/butterscotch chips, flaky sea salt, raw flour. Fantastic and fascinating. The flavour leans way more mineral rich, oceanic, salty.

Lote LN0001R40E 30/04/2024 Aroma: bright agave, stone fruit, and citrus with slight caramel and eucalyptus and a little alcohol tingle Flavor: some agave but with a toasty nuttiness and some pine notes and light toffee sweetness Mouthfeel: medium body with a fair amount of alcohol burn Finish: it has a decent finish with some grassy and sweet lingering at the back end Color: very light straw I'll be honest, I expected more from 1579 at this price point.
