On the nose, cheese! Another lovely lactic nose on this particular sample. I happen to love cheesey tequila, so I’m not complaining. Underneath the cheese balls is a beautiful perfume component with pickled fruit basket. On the palate is savory fruits(some pickled), melon, grape, cantaloupe, overripe strawberries, apples on the verge of spoil(but nice), pepper, yeasty, musty, pickled flowers(is that a thing?), minerality, cactus candy, guava… This is wonderful
• Visual: Thin viscosity. Clear with clear thin edge. • Initial Nasal Impact: Warming. • Aroma: Tropical fruit, light fresh catnip, fennel. • Mouthfeel: Oily with sufficient alcohol • Flavor: Grilled Tropical fruit, smoke, jalapeño, fennel • Finish: Med/long finish with grilled Tropical fruit, fennel and light smoke.
Some lactic funk and citrus on the aroma. Butter and olive too. Licorice/anise and earthy flavor. Definitely interesting and real, great aroma.
Blind tasting via AMM: Tart aroma with a slight vinegar twang. Flavor is very fruity and reminds me of Juicy Fruit gum. Nice medium tingly finish.
