Aroma: Loads of citrus and agave, with light mint, very inviting. Taste: More agave and citrus, but now some earthiness, dry herbs, and spices enter. Finish: The high 49% abv doesn’t overpower, it delights with a light background tingle that lingers. The exit has some vegetal jalapeño spice and dry earthiness to it that some will love, for me it’s not quite as pleasant as the first aroma suggested. Extra points for value at around $53 for a 98 proof well made tequila! This is a big step up from the base Casa Loy blanco.
