A bit soft and hasn't held up as well as the reposado. Natural sweetness from roast agave but missing a bit of alcohol due to a natural cork.

Oak and agave with some custard notes in the mouth. Light vanilla, barrel spice and a tangy finish make this older bottle dated 25/05/06 a real treat. Synthetic cork takes all the credit. Natural cork is for nostalgia, not longevity of the contents.

I rated this tequila blind, during the 2013 Spirits of Mexico competition in San Diego.
