Nose: Agave, ethanol, strawberry. I hate this nose. The ethanol punches through everything, and the strawberry leans artificial - like a Jolly Rancher left in a bottle of Everclear. It’s jarring and unbalanced. Palate & Mouthfeel: Surprisingly agave forward considering how off putting the nose is. Some nice peppery bite and it’s not cloyingly sweet, but there is a strange, synthetic sweetness that creeps in, reminds me of cotton candy flavoring. Not full on additive bomb, but it throws things off for me. Mouthfeel is fine, medium/light weight, no real complaints there. Finish: Slight pepper carries through but that lingering cotton candy note ruins the ending. Just sticks around in a way that feels much more like flavoring than fermentation. Final Thoughts: Bad aroma, better than expected palate, disappointing finish. It shows some signs of decent production - there’s clearly agave in there and some welcome pepper, but the overbearing nose and artificial sweetness take away from it. Not a total loss, but not something I’d reach for again. I can see others enjoying it, especially if they like a sweeter profile, but it’s a pass for me.

Fruity finish - almost like a Gin.

Very slight hint of pink color from aging in a wine barrel. Aroma of cooked agave and interesting hint of citrus. Muted flavor of cooked agave and some spiciness. Not much of a finish. I would imagine the pink hue is their marketing ploy.
