Coffee bean and chocolate open immediately, layered with rich caramel, bright lemon, and a subtle agave underpinning that keeps it grounded. Palate & Mouthfeel: Oaky with caramel and coffee notes up front. Floral and citrus highlights appear alongside hints of agave from the coffee bean. Cinnamon stands out, joined by vanilla, black pepper, and gentle alcohol. The texture is coating without feeling heavy. Finish: Lingering pepper and the bitter depth of coffee bean combine with soft floral and citrus notes, leaving a nuanced, slightly sweet-spiced close. Final Thoughts: Forget Espresso Martini’s - this is exactly MY kind of after dinner sip. It’s rich, lively, and full of character. Bold coffee and caramel notes with a touch of spice make it a fun tequila to savor.
Vessel: Glencairn Nose: Agave, Stonefruit, Coffee, Butterscotch Palate: Chocolate, Pepper, Oak, Caramel Finish: Oak, Pepper, Coffee, Toffee This is such a delicious and unique expression. It is bold and lingers for a bit on the finish. m
Quintaliza repo h.p. 45abv I'm really enjoying this expression. I want to try it in an espresso martini! This is one of the most unique tequilas I've ever tried. I love the balance between the coffee barrels and the tequila. the coffee comes through more in this high-proof expression than it did in the 40abv expression. Nose: agave, barrel spices, a little apricot?!?! and coffee. I like that the essence of the coffee is apparent but not overwhelming Palate: sweet agave, caramel, vanilla and coffee! Finish: fades off to coffee beans This one keeps you going back for more!
Forget Cristalinos and embrace some real agave innovation.
Quintaliza Reposado Tequila is finished in oak barrels that previously held artisan-roasted organic coffee made from sustainably sourced beans harvested in Chiapas, Mexico.
Light on agave but rich in a lot of other flavors. Chocolate, maple, caramel and barrel spice. Depends on what you like in your reposado but a nice change of pace.
