Quintaliza repo h.p. 45abv I'm really enjoying this expression. I want to try it in an espresso martini! This is one of the most unique tequilas I've ever tried. I love the balance between the coffee barrels and the tequila. the coffee comes through more in this high-proof expression than it did in the 40abv expression. Nose: agave, barrel spices, a little apricot?!?! and coffee. I like that the essence of the coffee is apparent but not overwhelming Palate: sweet agave, caramel, vanilla and coffee! Finish: fades off to coffee beans This one keeps you going back for more!

I love coffee almost as much as tequila. So when I learned of this tequila I was excited to see if two of my passions would work well together. The nose on this is full of sweet agave. I do get a light coffee note along with chocolate and dried fruits. The taste has agave but not as much as you would expect from the nose. The coffee is more present on the tongue but again done nicely as this doesn’t make you think of a coffee drink. The finish also gives a coffee taste. I like it. It is very different but I’d drink it again for sure.

This is a really intriguing bottle! I’m all about brands that are trying to innovate. This is a marriage of two things I’m SUPER passionate about: coffee and tequila! On the nose and initial taste, you wouldn’t think anything of it, tastes like a perfectly good reposado. However THAT’S when the magic happens. You get this note of coffee on the back end and finish. Really cool experience, highly recommend this one!

Delicious balance of agave, normal barrel spices of a quality repo and then that coffee hits just right at the end, reallyyy well done job here, caught me off guard, highly recommend, will easily keep a few of these on the shelf.

Rich wood notes & essence of coffee beans. Pleasantly surprised by this Reposado, I enjoyed it far more than I was expecting. Can’t wait to experiment with it, tequila espresso martini coming up!
