I met the owner Jose at old town Tequila. They were doing a demo and a quick taste of this product. I think because the Blanco had so little aroma and taste I enjoyed the repo a little bit more. The barrel seems to wake up the Tequila a bit and give it a little favor. I would say all of the flavors and aromas are ok to good in the repo. Another great value!
I met the owner Jose at old town Tequila. They were doing a demo and a quick taste of this product. This Blanco is as neutral as you can be. Everything from aroma to finish are all fair. Nothing detracts, but nothing stands out. They do get added points for a great value!
Cooked agave and green apple on the nose. Surprisingly agave forward followed by a nice cactus fruit sweetness. Good mouth feel. Finish is clean but not much of a lingering aftertaste. Overall a solid, complete Tequila.
Cooked agave
I met the owner Jose at old town Tequila. They were doing a demo and a quick taste of this product. I was told it’s rested for two years. Despite the initial blast of bourbony oak, this is still pretty good. Much like the reposado it gives some OK to good aroma and tastes. A really good budget añejo.
