Typically not a huge fan of Rosas but this stuff is delicious! I’d recommend letting it open up for a few minutes before drinking. The nose has a ton of layers of cherry, berries, cocoa and spices. On the palate I got plum, cherry and chocolate with cooked agave hints. Lots of layers to this and it got better and more complex over a few sips. Nice finish with a hint of sweetness and a little vanilla notes with some subtle black pepper. Overall, really well done by the Yeyo team!
Yeyo repo rosa 43ABV Let this sit and open up The presence of red wine is there, along with whiskey, brown sugar, maple, dried fruit/cherry, baking spices, cinnamon and spice
Very different from pronounced apple and cinnamon spices like cinnamon stewed apples. To the taste of tons of cinnamon and nutmeg mixed with red Granny Smith apples that flow on the tongue all the way through with a peppery finish that reminds you this is tequila. Yes there’s all the nice agave notes but man the apple spice is different and definitely worth a try.
Very nice HP. Agave right up front with some citrus, little mint and a nice cinnamon and pepper finish
Yeyo Blanco 96 High Proof (48ABV) That 1414 agave forward nose is very present but so is some nice bright zesty citrus, mint, light anise, and a hint of cinnamon. The alcohol vapors deliver the aromas nicely. I’m thinking that fermenting with fibers was a good idea. Let’s taste it. That oven-cooked agave sweetness is front and center. It’s naturally sweet but it’s also dense and buttery. The flavors linger and then the spice kicks in. It has a subdued roasted jalapeño vibe going on along with some white and black pepper. The anise from the nose shows up and there’s some pleasant palate numbness from the 96 proof. Overall it’s agave sweetness and an earthy spice. There are some good bubbles from the pour and the legs and tears form and hold nicely. The price I paid was well worth it at around 65 USD. Go grab a brick or two!

The motto for YEYO Tequila, "Tequila, as intended," reflects YEYO founder Jon Bullinger's challenge when creating YEYO.
Nose: Merlot and burnt sugar rise first, layered over warm agave and a cognac-like richness. Notes of dried fruit, especially fig and pear pull through with a soft floral edge of rose buds and a whiff of pipe tobacco. It’s an elegant and expressive nose, hinting at both sweetness and structure. Palate & Mouthfeel: The agave still shows up, but quickly gives way to deep dried fruit tones - prune and fig dominate. The barrel’s influence pushes strong spice and cinnamon, verging into an astringent, almost tannic territory. What begins as layered and intriguing becomes increasingly sharp and heavy, with sweetness edging toward syrupy. Finish: Bitter and astringent, with lingering barrel spice and fading fruit. The dryness overwhelms what started as promising balance. Final Thoughts: The nose and early palate offered genuine potential - refined, complex, and distinctive. But the palate collapses under heavy barrel influence, leaving a cloying bitterness that dulls what could’ve been something special. Enjoyable to experience once, but not one I’d seek out again.
