Bottle: YEYOREP2546 231114, 15/03/25 12:17, Batch 1, Bottle 7968 Appearance: Pale hound Nose: Cooked agave, black pepper, cinnamon, brown sugar, butter, vanilla, tropical fruit, coconut, banana, mango, citrus, orange, alcohol, candied pecan, orange blossom honey, maple syrup, and hay…sweet and very unique Palate: Cooked agave, Demerara sugar, black pepper, oak, treacle, rum raisin, vanilla, barrel spice, cinnamon, clove, tropical fruit, baked plantain, coconut, coffee, butter, toasted bread, citrus, orange marmalade, and dried fruit…well hello, rum barrel Finish: Black pepper, black pepper, barrel spice, clove, raspberry, and coffee…thick mouthfeel, with a long spicy finish Overall: The ex-Foursquare barrel aging did something great here. There’s many unique aromas and flavors with such great intensity from start to finish that it’s easy for me to feel like I’m back in Barbados sipping on a fantastic frozen cocktail and relaxing on the beach. The sweetness and spice are really balanced in a way that compliments the cooked agave without overwhelming the underlying character. I will definitely be grabbing another bottle.
