Fun to find this at a bar. Good overall. Soft and floral. Aroma is soft, floral and hint of tangerine. Taste is light with floral agave and earthy sweetness. Nice. Finish is fine. Stays fairly sweet and floral.

Surprisingly well-made and balanced coming from this distillery. Expected less refinement, but the execution is solid and clean. Nose: Cooked agave, earthy minerals, light herbs a little cinnamon . Flavor: Sweet cooked agave, wet dirt,mild pepper, subtle herbal notes and cinnamon. Finish: Clean, smooth, lightly mineral with gentle warmth. Overall: A traditionally produced Valley blanco that drinks softer and more polished than anticipated. Not overly expressive, but well-crafted and agave-forward.

Aroma - earth, mineral, green apple, cinnamon, baked yam, Flavor - cinnamon, cooked agave, vanilla, mineral, wet dirt I like this a lot for how approachable it is. There’s a nice texture and the flavor lingers a little. Horno cooked, tahona crush, stainless steel fermentation, copper pot still.

Interesting 10-14 day barrel rest blanco, unique nose, the production here is on point, flavor profile is different with some citrus notes, light pepper, light sweetness, the finish lingers, $60 price is a cause for loss of points. Need to retry and let it open up.

Notes taken on 3/8/25 The aroma opens with citrus, floral, and herbal notes, underscored by sharp ethyl and a layer of vanilla. On the palate—recalled from memory—it struck as jarring. A bold vegetal note met a cloying floral sweetness, pepper, ethyl and vanilla. Rating may change upon revisiting a bottle to fully explore.

tried this on the BAT March 2025 Note: all Laelia expressions are aged in french oak, even blanco rested 10 days. No american oak Laelia Blanco rested in barrels for 10 days Nose herbal pepper Palate pepper mineral with a little agave coming thru. Green pepper with mild spice Finish is bitter Color is crisp and clear this expression is not offensive. just not my favorite profile, and not complex. I would have rated a little higher but the finish was bitter. rating based on average value because I don't know cost. I only had a small sample. so I would like to try it again and adjust my rating accordingly if need be.
