Cuervo Tradicional Blanco
“As soon as it is poured does it bring out notes of banana. It has the essence of plantain and banana bread. Smooth in character with a robust finish that is hearty but not strong in heat. Not a quality finish but still a great take on bringing out unique flavors of agave not commonly found.”

El Tesoro Blanco
“Light aroma of cooked agave that is more earthy and grounded in agave. Easy body with a lot of green earthy waves that develop into the farmland tastes of fresh sunlight and cut agave. Some subtle black pepper notes but still a bit of lime citrus is the background. What a finish that is smooth but still warming with a bit of heat to warm the mouth but not the chest.”

Fortaleza Blanco (Still Strength)
“Really great expression for Fortaleza where this still strength is such a good sipper! Opens up as you drink and does well in expressing that true cooked agave. Aromas come out to be cooked agave with some butter and vanilla to compliment the alcohol. Taste wise it brings the cooked agave with some salt and no burn going down. One for the bar, table or wall!”

“I found this to be a genuinely clean and green tasting expression of tequila. Has a note of lime and touch of vanilla as to be showcasing the clean finish this tequila brings.”

El Padrino de Mi Tierra Añejo
“This is a very aromatic tequila where the oak brightens up your senses with some vegetal notes. Fragrant with some orange blossom to enhance its floral attributes. Tasting of this brings about some butterscotch and cedar wood. It has some dried vegetal attributes helped from being identified on the nose. Finish is a bit rough around the edges but helps impart the flavor you experience through tasting.”
