I was expecting less. But nothing crazily offensive here. It’s just all ok.
Aroma seems artificial with some floral notes. Mild flavor overall with some black pepper. Medium finish.
Nothing special. Not a stand out blanco, not a fan of column stills, strips the flavor profile you are paying for. A little artificial.
Artificial sweetness and lacks agave and blanco characteristics
Aroma: Pineapple flavored Lifesaver candy, a hint of cinnamon and mint, and sweetened Pine-Sol. Flavor: Artificial sweetener with significant bitterness. Some canned fruit flavors, with a tinny aftertaste. Not detecting any familiar blanco characteristics or agave. Finish: Just nothing to recommend here.
Weird aroma. Smells like fake fruit, slight rubber, baking soda and artificial sweetener. I tasted it blind and it smells like partial diffuser to me.
Absolutely nothing jumps out at me in a positive way, just juice to mix in margaritas
Tastes a bit like Cuervo gold but better
Floral Agave Earthy Vegetal Pepper Paired with a Joya de Nicaragua Antano
35% Mexico tried in Los Cabos. Raw agave nose. Earthy, agave, alcohol, grassy taste. Some mint on the finish. Not my favorite profile.
The smell is not appealing and it tastes like chemicals.
Aromas of grapefruit peel, white pepper, subtle oak, cooked agave, and dried basil. Lightly oily, fairly silky mouthfeel. More grapefruit, oak, pepper, and dried basil on the palate, plus lime. A pretty mellow tequila overall, without tons of intensity on either the nose or palate – but with a very smooth, medium-length finish. 3.25/5.00 – Quite Good
Nose: agave yes. Then some neutral spirits Body: medium. Silky. Has backbone, bite but no burn Palate: agave and the neutral spirits again, low complexity Finish: early fade, agave is more present. After-finish: leaves a nice nutty agave flavor in the nose and palate This is a good blanco. Price is a little high.
Worst tequila I’ve ever had. By a long shot
Good
Sweet aroma and taste with slight pepper. Artificial aftertaste in the finish.
Mexican 35% abv. versión, lote: L04021, bottled on 22-11-2021, tasted on 8-1-24. Aroma: light cooked agave, light green vegetal notes, cucumber, hint of earthiness, hint of herbs, hint of acidity, after 20 minutes in the glass a get a whiff of agave fiber aroma. Although the aromas are present, they are quite subtle. I noticed the tequila adhesion to the glass is quite thick, it rolls down rather slow specially considering its low abv. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, hint of black pepper through my retronasal, flavors are quite subtle on the palate too. Finish is short to almost medium, hint of cooked agave, hint of green vegetal notes, hint of agave sweetness with a hint of acidity persists for a rather short time.
Worst tequila I’ve had
LOT: 011-20 View: slightly yellowish, tears corresponding to a distillate of its alcohol content. Freshly served; Aroma: generic astringency that does not evoke any particular flavor. Chemical, acetone, maybe a little wood. Taste: alcohol, a discreet and unpleasant astringency like the white part of a lemon. I let it rest for 10 minutes to open aromas and flavors. Aroma: Some citricity of lemon and acetone. Flavor: It's even less complex, this doesn't taste like tequila at all.
Is centenario good? I don’t know if I’d say that. It’s a pretty bland bottle overall. But it’s also not bad, and it’s quite cheap and widely available, so it’s something you end up drinking a lot in Mexico just because it’s around. I wouldn’t drink it straight but it’s great for mixing.
Easy drinking, reminds me of Mexico/Le Blanc. A bit manufactured tasting but drinkable
Very sweet
Not terrible. Nothing exciting. Kind of a solid, average tequila that’s a little bit sweet. It’s really not that bad, given how it’s made.
Tasted like soap Could NOT drink at all. Fucking terrible
