You can sip it, but Lou thinks it's best as a mixer tequila.
This one is probably the weakest effort from the Patron line and I generally like reposados the best because they are a nice balance of the agave punch with the aspects and craftsmanship of the particular distillery. This one disappoints on both fronts.
Nose: agave, oak, faint butterscotch Taste: a little bland overall, the agave comes through with the oak and sweet caramel notes, but there’s a bitterness and an ethanol bite to it. Finish: lingering caramel sweetness and tingling ethanol, and bitter aftertaste. For $50, there are other Reposados I’d spend my money on. Not great value.
