“The nose showed bits of molasses and honey, and the taste brought out chocolate. The was a little thinner but wasn’t unpleasant. This sample wasn’t bad, but nothing in particular really stood out to me unfortunately. ”

“Aroma was very sweet which matched the flavor. A little artificial smelling. Tasting brought out subtle caramel notes and a “thick” mouth feel which again felt manufactured or added. ”

“This one is tough for me to grade because this is the first time I feel like I’ve gotten a messed up product. I had my wife taste it as well and something is up with this sample. Fresh linen was the dominant smell which evolved into an unpleasant taste of lavender and dryer sheets. There was a strong chemical component to the taste as well. I’m not so sure about this one unfortunately. Edit: After the private tasting, I realized that it wasn’t a bad sample…”

“Funky, earthy, and parsley aromas come across the nose. More funk and some mineral tastes join in during the first sip. Feels like if Don Fulano and Fortaleza had a baby. You’d be very hard pressed to find a better value than this anywhere. ”

“The smell leaves something to be desired, but I feel that way about most overproof tequilas I’ve rated. The taste was surprisingly good for someone like me that doesn’t consider themself a “high proof guy.” Pretty good value at $70-75 too considering the other overproof options that one can find. ”
