Puente Grande Tequila Reposado
“My girlfriend wanted a cheap tequila for her Tequila Sunrises, I could have bought her an $8 bottle of Sauza but I wanted a decent tequila. I found this on an end display at a Liquor Barn, I would have been better off buying a bottle of Jose Cuervo Tradicional but it’s no disaster because she can’t tell the difference! The NOM # is 1360 and I didn’t recognize any major tequilas being produced there but Cabo Waco once was! It’s an okay tequila but a little over priced for what it is and for that I would not recommend it. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!!”

Casamigos Tequila Blanco
“I was looking for a new tequila when the sales person suggested George Cooney's tequila that had been winning many awards lately. The only problem was it would set me back over 50 bucks. What if I didn't like it? Well found a nice bottle of something else which has become my new standard and bought a small sampler bottle of the Casamigos. George's tequila is sweet, smooth on the palate with a hint of vanilla but it is thin, it doesn't coat the tongue like a nice aged spirit and for that reason I have to say it is over priced. ”

El Jimador Blanco Tequila
“When I couldn't find the Jose Cuervo Traditional Silver I liked for easy sipping and for my margaritas. I looked at the El Jimador Blanco, I was mostly looking for an inexpensive tequila for my mix drink, I don't buy expensive when it's going into a margarita though the tequila does make a difference. The El Jimador tasted like lighters fluid, I couldn't drink it straight and that lighter fluid taste made my margarita undrinkable. I had to give that bottle away. True story, only the names had been changed to protect the innocent. ”
