“Extra Anejo Cristalinos are somewhat unusual creations. This one does not disappoint. It has a rich, mildly fruity, mildly sweet aroma, and the flavor is similar. A nice balance of fig, dried stone fruit, into moderately sweet cooked agave, then into a very slight leathery bitterness. Overall it is very nice, as it should be for the price.”

“I had high hopes for this, but it is painfully sweet. It seriously tastes like agave nectar with a bit of tequila in it. If you like a very sweet tequila this one is for you. As an added bonus, the edge of the hard foil label sliced my thumb as I was opening the bottle. I had to add scotch tape over the edges of the label as to avoid further bloodshed.”
