Doña Celia Tequila Reposado
“The aroma is overwhelmingly very sweet vanilla and alcohol. There is no whiff of agave. This theme continues in the flavor profile. There is no discernible agave flavor and there is a strong medicinal taste that I did not enjoy. It’s a pretty bottle if you are into that. ”

Suavecito Reposado
“It is “smooth” if that’s what you are looking for. The flavor profile has a lot to do with the lower ABV (35%) and the agave nectar that is added. There’s not a lot of complexity here and very little agave flavor, some vanilla and oak. Not my jam but I can see why people like it. It’s good for shots though. ”

Teremana Tequila Blanco
“I can’t completely dislike this spirit since it is what got me into the tequila game, but it’s just okay. There is some agave flavor there but for the price, I’d rather get Tapatio or El Tequileño Mixto. ”

Tears of Llorona Extra Añejo
“Had the privilege of having this with a friend. I saw many reviews for Tears of Llorona and had high expectations. For anyone who will have this for the first time, I strongly recommend you let it sit and open up for at least 5 minutes (thats as long as I could hold out). It really helps to open all the flavors and makes for a memorable first experience. The depth of flavor is off the charts. Deep notes of cooked agave, vanilla, oak, and cinnamon with a little bit of black pepper. The finish is long and dry. To describe it in one word, it’s just plain delicious. ”
